allora come ho preannunciato avrei spiegato il mio problemino, già
anticipato a Silvan in privato, che mi aveva consigliato di fargli vedere
/var/log/Xorg.0.log e cosa dava lspci, ed eccoli qui:

(ah la mia scheda grafica è una ati radeon 9600)
