The 20250213 snapshot release of the openmamba livecd distribution is available for download.

Description

A ISO image of openmamba for live execution and installation providing a KDE Plasma based desktop environment and a basic set of preinstalled programs.

Who it's for

openmamba livecd is the base medium for a minimal installation into a computer. The installation can be completed later through the network.
It is suitable for most kinds of computer usages at home or office, i.e. accessing Internet, producing documents, listening to music and watching movies and it's useful for data recovery on computers where the installed operating system does no longer work.

Requirements

A 64 bit Personal Computer (PC) compatible with the following minimum features:

AMD64 or compatible 64 bit processor
4 GB of RAM (8 GB are recommended)
BIOS or (U)EFI with USB boot support

Additional requirements for system installation:

a fixed disk with 20 GB of free space or more
