The x86 and x86_64 versions work on Personal Computer (PC) compatibles that meet the following minimum requirements:
- processor: Intel Pentium III or higher or AMD K6/Duron/Athlon or higher
- 1 GB of RAM
- a storage device (USB storage, SD, microSD, ..) providing 8GB of space
The arm and aarch64 versions can work on platforms which meet the following minimum requirements:
- recent Linux kernel compatibile with the hardware platform
- the capability (dependent on the device tecnology) to boot the kernel and modify its boot options
to set for example: root=/dev/sda1 or root=/dev/mmcblk0p1 or root=/dev/mmclbk1p1
- 512 MB of RAM
- a storage device supported by the Linux kernel and the device (SD, microSD, USB storage, ..) providing at least 4 GB
