The ISO image file can be used in different ways:
<ul>
<li>traditionally ISO image file was intended to be burnt on a DVD medium using an appropriate tool and performing the operation
by writing the file as "disk image file";</li>
<li>the ISO image file can also be used to start openmamba on a virtualization system (e.g. VirtualBox, VMWare);</li>
<li>the image can be physically copied into a USB storage using a specific tool or the "dd" command:
<pre>dd if=openmamba-livedvd-snapshot-*.iso of=/dev/sdx bs=32M</pre></li>
<li>the ISO image file can also be installed and prepared to boot from a USB storage drive providing storage data persistence
by using the "Install openmamba on a USB device" tool which is available from an openmamba desktop.</li>
